With 3 deaths in 24 hours, Dakshina Kannada’s covid-19 toll mounts to 22

Mangaluru, Jul 4: Dakshina Kannada has recorded three more covid-19 related deaths in past 24 hours. With this the total number of covid-19 related deaths reached 22. 

An elderly woman, who was tested positive for coronavirus, breathed her last at a hospital in Mangaluru.

A resident of Keremoole in Sullia, she was admitted to a hospital due to some other illness. Her throat swabs were sent for covid-19 test. 

Sources said that the woman died of heart attack even before her swab sample test report arrived. The report confirmed that she had coronavirus in her body. 

Reliable sources said that two – a man and a woman - more people died of coronavirus today. One is from Kulur and the other is from Kodikal.
