Kasaragod, Jun 2: A 55-year-old man drowned after being swept away by tidal waves while he was fishing at Musodi beach near Manjeswaram on Friday.
Abdulla, son of Usman and a resident of the locality, was swept away by the waves around 9.15 a.m., coastal police sources at Kumbla said.
The body was handed over to relatives in the afternoon after carrying out post-mortem examination at the community health centre at Mangalpady.
