Udupi, Apr 21: The Udupi district police have arrested two more persons in connection with the assault on Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis and her convoy at Kandlur village near Kundapur on April 3.
The police gave the names of the persons arrested as Mudasir (30) and Shahid (28). Both the accused are residents of Kandlur. The police said that both were arrested on April 19. With this arrest, the number of arrested in the case has gone up to 25.
