Karnataka contemplates to extend financial help to KFD victims family

Bengaluru, Mar 10: Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has promised to extend financial help to the families of the victims of the Monkey fever, also known as Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD), which is found rampant in certain areas in Malnad region in the State.

Speaking to newsmen, here on Sunday, he said that the State Government has released Rs 10 crore towards manufacture of vaccine as well as conducting more study and
research on the disease.
