Mangaluru, Dec 19: St Agnes Alumnae Association will be organising the releasing programme of “The Centenary Cookbook” on 20 December 2019 at 4.00 pm at A4 Hall, St Agnes College.
St. Agnes College, a premier institution, established in the year 1920-21 is all set to step into its centennial year on 3 January 2019. Over the years, the college has proved to be a torch bearer of repute in the field of education. While education of the girl child and women empowerment are recognized as a national priority today, St Agnes College has been serving this noble cause for the past 100 years and its alumni, scattered all over the world, are witness to this fact.
As part of the approaching centenary celebrations, the Alumnae of the college are releasing “The Centenary Cookbook” as a fund raiser for the Centenary Memorial Block.
St Agnes College has made a difference in the lives of thousands of women for the past 99years. Moving closer to the home, the alumnae are releasing “The Centenary Cookbook—A treasure trove from Mangalorean homes”. This cookbook has been compiled with great effort to include the traditional dishes of our Mangalorean community. Priced at a nominal Rs. 300, it is sure to be a treasured companion in the kitchen.
