Ardent fan dies of heart attack as Yeddyurappa resigns as CM

Raichur, May 21: An diehard fan of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa died of a heart attack after learning that his icon had resigned from the CM's post showing courage to face trust vote.

Rangappa (45), who belongs to Jalapur village, Sirawara taluk, Raichur district, who was ailing from a heart ailment was in hospital.

When he learnt that Yeddyurappa had resigned from CM's post, he failed to respond to treatment and succumbed on Monday morning. 

Rangappa, who collapsed on Saturday evening was rushed to hospital. He was a devoted BJP partyman who had worked hard for the party for a decade and had become identified as a Yeddyurappa supporter. He is survived by two sons and wife.
