Mangalore, December 20: A youth was arrested by sleuths attached to Karntaka Coastal Security Police on Monday on for illegal possession of 1.1 kg of ganja worth Rs 30,000.
The police arrested Alwyn Pinto alias Anil Bengera (33) during routine patrolling near Ganesh Katte on Thannirbhavi beach, when he was allegedly attempting to peddle ganja.
A case was registered and the accused was produced before the court.
