Rajinikanth requests protesters to maintain peace

Chennai, Jan 23: Urging students and other protesters to give up their protest, superstar Rajinikanth has issued a statement.

As police swung into action to bring to an end the protests over the ban on Jallikattu on Monday morning, several people took to social media to put out their opinions. Actor Rajinikanth has requested them to disburse in peace and not let anti social elements spoil the good name that they have earned so far.

In his statement, he has also said that the peace protest so far has made the world look up proudly to the Tamilians and the youngsters, but he is in great grief as it has now turned violent. He has also requested to the youngsters to wait see what happens, as the State, Center and the Judiciary have assured a favorable solution and it must be honored.
