Sonu Walia gets obscene calls and videos, lodges police complaint

Mumbai, Mar 4: Yesteryear actress Sonu Walia has filed a sexual harassment complaint with the Mumbai police after she was reportedly flooded with obscene phone calls and videos over the last few days. The actress filed an FIR against the unidentified culprits under Section 354 of the IPC and other sections of IT act.

The FIR was lodged at the Bangur Nagar police station in Mumbai.

The 53-year-old actress said that she has been getting obscene videos and lewd phone calls for a week. Sonu had warned the unknown callers many times; however, the lewd calls only increased in frequency after that. Finally, she went to the police when the harassment became too much to handle.

The police also issued a statement on the matter and said that the numbers are no longer in operation.
