Mangaluru, Feb 28: The Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha will hold a protest rally and hunger strike on March 8 in Karnataka demanding the state government to outlaw Popular Front of India and Social Democratic Party of India.
He said that on March 8 a protest march will be taken out from Maurya Circle to Freedom Park in Bengaluru before launching a 24 hour hunger strike.
He said that the main demands behind the agitation is that PFI and SDPI should be outlawed and Rs 25 lakh compensation be given for the family members of the two persons who were killed on the outskirts of Shivamogga in the aftermath of a PFI rally.
Mr Pavitran said that Hindu Mahasabha strongly condemns the remarks of human rights activist and progressive seer of Nidumamidi Mutt, Sri Veerabhadra Channamalla Swamiji against those demolished Babri Masjid.
He warned that majority Hindu community members would not accept Nidumamidi Mutt pontiff as their Swamiji if the latter continued to raise voice for Muslims.
Hindu Mahasabha state vice-president Lohith Suvarna, Manjunath Hosabettu, DK district president Shravan Kumar, general secretary Naveen were present among others.
