Dubai: DKSC Youth Wing holds blood donation camp

Dubai: The Youth Wing of Dakshina Kannada Sunni Centre organized a blood donation camp to mark 43rd UAE National day celebration under the slogan ‘my blood to my country’ at Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery in coordination with Dubai Health Authority Blood Bank here recently.

A large number of Youth Wing members, DKSC National committee members and well wishers participated in the camp.

The program was aimed to spreading greater awareness about the importance of blood donation as well as helping to prevent blood shortage in the region.

The blood donation camp was organized by Mukthar who also working as a Laboratory Technologist at Burjeel Hospital and Zubair Athoor president of DKSC Youth Wing unit and its social service in charge kamal Ajjavara and Riyaz Kinya

The organization members donated blood after undergoing necessary medical formalities.

Ajman: Ashok Bai Baria (44), a resident of Valsad - Ahmedabad, succumbed to a heart attack in Ajman. 

The incident occurred on March 13 morning at his residence, following which he experienced severe physical distress leading to the fatal cardiac arrest. 

Fishing has been a longstanding activity in Ajman- UAE, with Baria being actively involved in the profession for many years. 

Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services in the UAE, has informed that all necessary arrangements are underway to repatriate the deceased's body to his hometown.
