Bahrain: ‘Stop politics of hate’ campaign held

Manama: The Karnataka chapter of India Fraternity Forum, Bahrain has launched a campaign “stop politics of hate” at Hamad town on September 9.

Inaugurating the program by Mohamed irshad Thumbay, president of Karnataka chapter of IFF Bahrain, spoke about the current situation of Indian politics and alleged discriminating policies adopted by the rulers.

He said, minorities, daliths and backward communities are facing more atrocities in recent days but ruling parties contributing more to spread hatred among people.

“We need to stand together and work together to fight against these issues under purview of the law,” he said.

Athaulla Sullia, general secretary, of Karnataka chapter, also spoke on the occasion and answered the questions posed by the audience. Mr Asif BC Road welcomed. Nizam Nijju proposed vote of thanks.
