Kabaddi World Cup: Yuvraj Singh to Saina Nehwal, sports stars cheer for Team India

New Delhi, Oct 4: As defending champions India gearing up for the upcoming 2016 Kabaddi World Cup, starting October 7, 2016 in Ahmedabad, several Indian sports stars are cheering up for the home side.

Indian cricket stars Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, London Olympic medallists Saina Nehwal, MC Mary Kom, and present and former India Hockey captain PR Sreejesh and Sardar Singh along with otheers are sending their best wishes to the Indian squad for the biggest Kabaddi extravaganza.

2016 Paralympics silver medallist Deepa Malik, two times Asian Games gold medallist Pankaj Advani and champion boxer Vijender Singh have also sent their best wishes to the Indian team.

The Indian Kabaddi Team has appealed everyone to come together as #OneBigBlue to support them and help them lift the cup!

India are the top contenders for the trophy in the tournament, in which teams from 12 countries are going to participate.

Besides hosts India, other participating nations in the tournament are USA, England, Australia, Iran, Poland, Thailand, Bangladesh, South Korea, Japan, Argentina and Kenya.
