Mangalore, November 30: Amidst the people’s discontentment over the on-going inquiry into the Saujanya rape and murder case, Belthangady police have registered a case against Nagarika Seva Trust president K Somanatha Nayak and other activists on charges of “defaming reputation a prominent temple and its head.”
The case was registered on Thursday based on a complaint lodged by Sukesh Kumar, a resident of Melanthabettu village, and a devotee of Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala.
