Mangalore, August 2: Members of the Youth Congress blamed the BJP-led State Government for the attack allegedly by Hindu Jagaran Vedike activists on youth at a home stay in Mangalore.
Staging a demonstration here on Wednesday, they accused Higher Education Minister C.T. Ravi, who is in-charge of Dakshina Kannada, for not taking proper action against the vedike members involved in the attack.
They demanded that cases be booked against the attackers under the Goonda Act. They sought the resignation of Mr. Ravi, who, they said, was also responsible for the attack.
