Mangalore: Job Fair inaugurated

Mangalore March 21: A Job Fair was conducted by Diya Systems in association with District Employment Exchange in Karnataka Polytechnique College, Mangalore, on Sunday, March 21.
Speaking after inaugurating the Fair, Krishna J Palemar, District in-charge Minister, lauded the efforts of companies like Diya Systems, for creating job opportunities for the locals. Many big companies have emerged but they only brought problems for the locals and not job opportunities. Informing that off the 15,000 applications that the Government received after it called for job applications, Palemar said that 2,500 candidates have already been recruited while 4000 are being trained.
Dr V Ravichandran, CEO, Diya Systems, in his address said that the intention behind this job fair is to give job opportunities to economically poor and rural youth. He also expressed the possibility of providing jobs to all aspirants present. He also revealed that through District Employment Exchange, training facilities to make youth who miss out here, are also being considered.
