Manorama Madhwaraj bereaved

Manipal, June 23: The eldest son of former Udupi MP and controversial political figure in coastal Karnataka Manorama Madhwaraj breathed his last on Saturday after a prolonged illness.

 

48-year-old Prasad Madhwaraj was less actives in politics unlike his younger brother Pramod Madhwaraj, who is a Congress leader in Udupi.

 

He was more concentrated on his own business and was proprietor of Coronet Fishing and Canning Company.

 

Family sources said that he died at Kasturba Hospital and would be cremated on Sunday in Malpe.

 

He is survived by his mother, brother and five sisters.
