Decision on bail for Vittala by lower court on Jul 2

vittala1Mangalore, June 24: The Belthangady Court has reserved its decision regarding bail for tribal boy Vittala Malekudiya, an MCJ student of Mangalore University and his father Linganna who were arrested by ANF for alleged naxal links, for July 2.

 

On Saturday, a hearing with regard to bail for the father-son duo took place at Belthangady Court wherein the bench heard the arguments from both sides. The Court will give a judgement on July 2.

 

Mr. Vittala and his father Mr. Linganna who are currently in Mangalore sub-jail, had applied for bail with the High Court of Karnataka.  The High Court had ordered that bail application be filed with the lower court. Accordingly, a bail application was filed.

 

Advocate Shiva Prakash is representing Mr. Vittala and his father Mr. Linganna in the Court.
