beachMangalore, July 10: A decomposed body, suspected to be that of a foreigner has been found at the shores of Panambur beach here on Tuesday.

Speaking to Coastaldigest.com, Harish, Panambur Assistant ASI, said that the body has decomposed but the skin is whitish, which could be an indication that the body is of a foreign national.

Both hands from the body have been found dislocated, he added. The body is being taken to Wenlock hospital and it has not been identified as yet, he said.

It could be recalled that a Polish national Miloeez (21), had drowned in the Arabian Sea, at Thottam beach near Malpe on July 6. His body had not been traced even after the intensive search operations by the coastal guard boats at Thottam.

On Monday, Indian Navy made an attempt to trace the body in the sea by conducting an aerial survey of the Karnataka coast.

Miloeez, who had come to Manipal as part of the Summer Internship Programme on July 1, had been to the beach walk along with two others and had entered the sea water for swimming wearing blue underwear.
