Udupi, August 21: A man died after a speeding car hit him when he was crossing National Highway 66 at Hangalur village in Kundapur.
The police gave the name of the dead as Sheena Poojary (46), a resident of Kodi.
Rash and negligent driving by the car driver is said to be the reason for the accident.
Kundapur traffic police station has registered a case.
