Manipal, September 9: A 31-year-old worker died after an air pump compressor ring accidentally fell on his head at a factory here.
The victim has been identified as Raghavendra Nayak, an employee the Janata Tyres Factory.
Though he was rushed to the hospital immediately after the incident that occurred on Friday evening, he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday afternoon.
A case of unnatural death had been registered at Manipal police station.
