Graduation ceremony at Father Muller Homeopathy Medical College held

Deralakatte, April 25: Silver Jubilee Finale and Graduation Ceremony 2010 were celebrated at College Grounds, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte, on Sunday, April 25.

Rev. Fr. Patrick Rodrigues, Director of FMHMC Institute, welcomed.

Rev. Fr. Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, Administrator, FMHMC&HPD, read out the annual report of the College and briefed about the various achievements and extra-curricular activities held during the year.

Ramji Singh, President of Central Council of Homoeopathy, in his Presidential address emphasized on the role played by the parents of the students who brought them up to this stage. While stating that learning is a continuous process, he urged the students to maintain the reputation of the college in the field of Homoeopathy.

Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore, President of FMHMC in his address put forth his observations vis-à-vis the developments that the College has seen in the past 25 years.

After the graduation ceremony and distribution of certificates to 79 students, Margaret Alva, Governor of Utharkhand, and Chief Guest of the function, delivered the convocational address. While expressing her joy at the sight of the new college premises, she said that constructing a building is easy, but it takes a lot to build a reputation of an institution. She also expressed happiness that girls are outnumbering the boys in obtaining graduation.

A Cultural programme by students of FMHMC was also held on the occasion.
