Seemant Kumar Singh to begin second innings in Mangalore as Police Commissioner

Mangalore/ Bangalore, April, 27 : Seemanth Kumar Singh, who once served as the Superintendent of Police in Dakshina Kannada District has come back to Mangalore city now as the Commissioner of Police, after getting promotion to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police.

The State government on Monday, April 26, effected the transfer of 16 senior IPS officers and promoted two. Seemanth known as Bellary Reddy's man, serving earlier in Bellary was transferred on promotion as DIG and was awaiting posting since last three months.

Seemant Kumar Singh had served as SP in the district from 2000 to 2004 and was then transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Bangalore. Later he was transferred and posted as Superintend of Police in Bellary.

The State Government transferred 18 police officials, including five Additional Directors-General of Police on Monday, April 26. Gopal B Hosur, the Inspector General of Police (western range) who was in-charge Commissioner of Police, Mangalore has also been transferred without posting.

Achuta Rao has been posted as ADGP (Crimes and Technical Services), Bangalore. Kuchanna Srinivasan, has been posted as ADGP and Inspector-General of Prisons; Om Prakash as ADGP, Grievances and Human Rights; Bipin Gopal Krishna as ADGP, Internal Security; and GM Hayat as ADGP, KSRP.

Jeevan Kumar V Gaonkar has been posted as ADGP, Administration; P Ravindranath has been posted as Inspector-General of Police, Excise Enforcement Cell; Jayaprakash V Nayak has been posted as IGP and Additional Commandant General, Home Guards.

MC Narayana Gowda has been posted as IGP Forest Cell. Prashant Kumar Thakur has been appointed IGP (Vigilance), Water Resources Department; and Suresh Kunhi Mohamed, DIG on Central deputation, has been promoted to the grade of IGP. A.S.N. Murthy has been posted as IGP, Southern Range, Mysore; M. Abdulla Saleem has been posted as DIG, HQ-1.

R Hitendra has been promoted to the rank of DIG; Bijay Kumar Singh has been posted as DIG, HQ-2, Bangalore; P. Harishekharan has been posted as DIG, Internal Security; and B.N.S. Reddy has been posted as Assistant IGP (Crimes), Bangalore.

What a surprise!!!!! Shame.. Shame.. Shame…Shame for Bjp and Sangaparivaar, Can you remember, why did he transfer from Mangalore in 2004???? Because he arrested some Goons and criminals who involved in M D Jabbar and Yusuf brutal murder but BJP & Sangaparivaar conduct protest procession (more than five thousand people to gather) against him because he arrested criminals who belongs to sanga parivaar and its outfits,They were blame him that he is anti hinduthva ,its led by M P Sadananda gowda, now BJP is the rulers ,Simanth kumaar back to Mangalore with promotion . what about now ??? is the promotion is punishment to anti hinduthva activity ??? Where is Sadananda gowda, BJP and Sangaparivaar ???? Are you blind ? or Are you fool the supporters ??Hinduthva ,Secular all about only politics.
About him He was one of the honest and strict Officer of Dept, while he is in charge, he had effectively handled several law and order situation including communal riots,Welcome sir Wel come back to you.

Welcome Back Mr. Seemanth Kumar hope to have a impartial decision, There was a baseless allegation against you during your term in the year 2000 that by BJP & Bajrangdal goons that favoring Congress only for this reason they were succeeded to transfer you to Bellary, Now the time to show what Seemanth is?

Brave police officers, well it’s your exceptional service made you to reach higher stages in the department, I am very happy to know about Mr. Seemanth Kumar Singh appointed to serve Mangalore as commissioner.
And also proud to see great police officer a friend and great advisor Mr. BIPIN GOPALA KRISHNA appointed to serve as ADGP (internal security) for Bangalore.
Who is courageous, rightly deserves higher positions.
