ASIA XI bags 'ASIAN XI SUMMER CUP 2010'

Rakha, Dammam (Saudi Arabia), April, 22 : Asia XI won the Asian XI summer cup 2010 beating Radicon in the final match, played at Raka ground here.

Radicon captain Afwan Karkala won the toss & elected to bat first, Javeed & Niyaz opened the innings for Radicon, was out cheaply for the first time in the tournament but later Anwar 25, Niyaz 20, and 40 Mazhar studied the innings and scored 134 in 16 overs no one else got to double figure.

Asia XI started their innings poorly they lost 3 wickets for 41 runs in 4 overs, But Iqbal played a splendid innings and scored 50 off 26 balls, Asia XI chased the target in just 12overs thanks to Iqbal splendid innings.


In the 1st Semi final Radicon defeated Cornich blue. & in the 2nd Semi final Asia XI defeated master c c.


The tournament started with league matches on 18 feb. Tournament was organized by Noor & ACEC.


ACEC management committee members were present in prize distribution.

Best bowler Noora of Asia XI. Best player Anwar of Radicon.

Best wicket keeper Rifth of Asia XI 3rd place Corinch blue.
