Bangalore, April 28 : BS Yeddyurappa, Chief Minister of Karnataka, who holds the Energy portfolio too, has finally skipped the Energy Ministers’ Conference of States convened by the Centre in Delhi on Wednesday, 28 April 2010.

Instead, the CM has directed Home Minister V S Acharya to attend it. Power ministers of all states except Karnataka have participated in this meet.

The conference is organised to discuss the nagging problem of power shortage across the country. The State Government can present the situation here and demand for, among others, complete share of power from the central grid.
