Bengaluru, Nov 28: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) on Wednesday charged that Deputy Chief minister Govinda Karajol, had violated the Moral Code of Conduct by distributing cash to lure the voters in the Athani Assembly constituency in Belagavi district.
The KPCC leaders led by former Lok Sabha member V S Ugrappa, met the Karnaala Chief Electoral Officer, Sanjeev kumar and submitted a complaint, accusing Karajol, who was also BJP’s party incharge for the Athani Assembly seat, had stated that the Deputy Chief minister was videographed while distributing cash to the voters.
