Bengaluru, June 5: Senior Congress leader and former Karnataka Minister H K Patil today appealed to the AICC President Rahul Gandhi to intervene immediately and pacify the party leaders who have expressed their difference of opinion over functioning of the State unit.
Referring to senior leaders and former Ministers Ramalinga Reddy and Roshan Beig expressing their anguish over the functioning of the State unit which was responsible for party's debacle in the Lok Sabha election, Patil told newsmen here on Wednesday that "Rahul Gandhi should intervene and hold discussion with party leaders and find suitable solution. It is not correct to blame either Siddaramaiah alone responsible for the poor show in the Lok Sabha election, each and every one of us should interrospect ourselves".
All the senior leaders of the party should strive for building the party unitedly. "We should work unitedly to strengthen the party after a poll loss. It is common in every political party small difference will crop up but it should be solved through discussion and by going to media we cannot solve the problems, this should be understood by each and every one in the party.'
