Kalaburagi, Sept 17: D K Shivakumar, the biggest ‘crisis manager’ of Congress party, has expressed hope that in future he would become the chief minister of Karnataka.
“God willing (Insha’Allah), I will become the chief minister in coming days” said the 56-year-old Vokkaliga stalwart who is currently holding Water Resources and Medical Education portfolios.
The minister quickly added that there was still time for that and no need to rush into it.
He was responding to the queries of media persons after visiting the Dattatreya temple at Devalaganagapura in Afzalpur taluk of Kalaburgi district.
He reiterated that the chief minister H D Kumaraswamy-led coalition the government was stable none needs to worry though BJP was trying to poach Congress MLAs.
