Dinner diplomacy
He will end his day having dinner with senior leaders B S Yeddyurappa and K S Eshwarappa. The duo have been at loggerheads over the issue of party tickets for the Assembly polls. Supporters of Eshwarappa had threatened to revive the Sangolli Rayanna Brigade if their leader is denied the ticket to contest from Shimoga City seat.
Yeddyurappa held a meeting at his residence in Shivamogga recently, seeking opinion from local leaders on whether Eshwarappa should be given the ticket as he had fared badly in the 2013 Assembly polls.
