Kasaragod, Apr 23: The polling agent of the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) was allegedly stabbed by CPI(M) led Left Democratic Front (LDF) activists following a conflict at Chattanjal-Thekkil in Uduma in Kasaragod district.
Police said, the UDF agent Kabeer was injured in the incident and another UDF worker was also injured while trying to prevent the LDF activists from attacking Kabeer. Kabeer is recovering at a hospital, Police added.
Kasaragod went to polls today along with 19 other parliamentary constituencies of Kerala in the third phase of Lok Sabha polls held across India.
