Belagavi, May 30: Mohammad Kaif Mulla, student of St Xavier’s High School, who had secured the second rank in the state after the results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination were announced, has now emerged the topper after re-evaluation.
He has scored 625 marks of 625 marks against 624 marks which was earlier announced in the result. He is the first student from the district to top the state in SSLC examination.
Kaif had scored cent per cent marks in all the subject barring Science in which he had scored 99 marks. He was confident of getting the 1 mark too and had applied for revaluation. After re-evaluation, he has scored cent per cent marks and has become topper not only in the district but also in the state.
Kaif’s mother Parveen and father Harun Rashid Mulla are both working as teachers in government primary and high school and teach Urdu and Kannada respectively.
Mohammad Kaif intends to opt for Science and aspires to become a doctor and later write public service exams wants to become an IAS officer.
