Air India Express announces Dammam-Mangaluru, Calicut summer schedule

Mangaluru, Feb 1: The Air India Express has announced the summer schedule and formally confirmed the operation of additional flights from Saudi Arabia to Mangaluru and Calicut.

In a release, the government owned airline stated that it would operate three direct flights to Mangaluru in a week and four direct flights to Calicut in a week from Dammam, the capital of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern province. The new summer schedule which will come into effect from March 29 this year will be changed after a month.

March 29 to April 30

As per the new schedule effective from March 29 the flight IX-885 will depart Mangaluru International Airport at 10:20 p.m. local time and reach Dammam International Airport at 12:05a.m. local time on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. On return journey flight IX-886 will depart Dammam at 1:05a.m. local time and reach Mangaluru at 7:45 a.m. local time on Wednesday, Fridays and Mondays.

May 1 to October 24

From May 1 to October 24, the flight IX-885 will depart Mangaluru International Airport at 5:25 p.m. local time and reach Dammam International Airport at 7:10 p.m. local time on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. On the same days, the flight IX-886 will depart Dammam at 8:30 p.m. local time and reach Mangaluru at 3:10 a.m. local time.

Dammam-Calicut

On the other hand flight IX-381 will leave Calicut at 5:10 p.m. local time and reach Dammam at 7:10 p.m. local time on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays. On the same days flight IX-382 will depart Dammam at 8:30 p.m local time and reach Calicut at 3:25 p.m. local time. This schedule will be effective from March 29 to October 24.
