Kerala accident
Dubai, Aug 6: A Dubai-based Indian woman died in an accident in her hometown of Thrissur in the South Indian state of Kerala on Monday.

Noble Prakash, 31-year-old housewife, was on vacation with her family when the accident occurred on the national highway on Friday.

Tokson Thomas, a friend of Prakash, said Noble, along with her husband Prakash and son Aiden Prakash, was returning home in Perambra from a hospital in Thrissur town as the three-year-old child was not feeling well. The car they were travelling in rammed the back of a truck, injuring all three.

Noble plunged into a comma, but both her husband and child escaped with minor injuries. Prakash suffered injuries on his neck and eyes while his son had minor scratches. Noble was admitted to a local hospital but succumbed to her injuries on Monday, Tokson said.

The family had been living in Dubai for the last nine years. Noble flew to India with her two sons — Austin and Aiden — on July 5. Prakash, an employee of Dubai's Intertec Systems, joined them two weeks later. They were about to return to Dubai next week.

The funeral was held on Tuesday in Perambra, their native place.
