She made her mark as the young Lenny in 1947 Earth with Aamir Khan and Nandita Das. And after a blink and miss appearance in Dia Mirza-Zayed Khan starrer Love Breakups Zindagi, Maia Sethna is all set to make a comeback with Main Aur Mr Right.
Maia who was in the UK for a while, is now back to explore her talent in B-town. "I feel I am confident now and will be able to take the right decision."
Her film Main Aur Mr Right is a romantic comedy with an ensemble cast. Actors Barun Sobti and Shehnaz Treasurywalla have also been roped in for the film. "It is a fun romantic comedy, about life and love. It is a young fresh film. I am enjoying shooting with my co-stars. I'm very excited!" Maia says.
Daughter of a well known theatre artist Farida Pedder, Maia has dabbled in theatre, photography and modelling in the UK. However, she says that she wants to be a "perfectionist" like Aamir Khan, her "first co star". "Aamir is someone I look up to. My bonding with Aamir is different. He knew my mother too," she says.
