Mangaluru, Sept 27: A girl student of a private dental college at Sullia in Dakshina Kannada district has allegedly committed suicide under mysterious circumstances.
The deceased has been identified as Sneha A Thompson, a native of Kerala. She was pursuing BDS at KVG Dental College and Hospital in Sullia.
She was staying in a rented room at Kaveri Arcade on KVG Road in Sullia. It is learnt that on Wednesday, after attending classes she went to her room and hanged herself.
Jurisdictional police have registered a case and investigations are on.
