Mangalore, Aug 14: Dharmadhikari of Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Veerendra Heggade has filed a complaint against Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi for defaming' his family, his temple, police and the government.
In a letter to Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police, Mr Heggade said that Thimarody was spreading lies' and defaming the sanctity of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala.
“Thimarody has leveled baseless allegation against me saying that I put pressure on Circle Inspector to arrest him. This is an insult for me as well as the police department,” the letter said.
He asked to initiate stringent action against Thimarodi.
