Shivamogga, Feb 28: Rock climber Jyothi Raj, aka Kothi Raj, who had remained untraced for a day after going down Jog Falls to retrieve the body of a Bengaluru youth, was spotted on Wednesday.

Raj who got into the falls on Tuesday morning did not come till the evening. There was no communication from him.
A 20-member search-and-rescue team of Bengaluru/Chitradurga rock climbers was organised to look for Raj on Tuesday and the Siddapura police camped at the falls overnight.
The combing operation was carried out from the Mysuru Bangale side to the base of the waterfall.
A drone camera was used to comb the Bombay Bangale side of the waterfall. Jyothi Raj was spotted on Wednesday morning and he was said to be extremely tired. Attempts are on to rescue him.
Manjunath the deceased, had died by jumping into the waterfall after leaving behind a suicide note on February 25.
His family members arrived at Jog on Tuesday and Jyothi Raj was called in to retrieve the body of Manjunath.
