Bengaluru, Dec 8: The Department of Transport of Karnataka government has banned display of advertisements on vehicles, according to an official release.
Displaying advertisements on auto-rickshaws, goods vehicles, buses, and taxis has been banned. The department has urged vehicles owners who have displayed advertisements on their vehicles to remove them.
However, the release stated that those who wish to display advertisements on their vehicles have to take prior permission from the District Regional Transport Authority, the release added.
