New Delhi, Oct 27: Congress high command is learnt to have suggested Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to induct former Mandya MP Ramya as minister in his Cabinet during its rejig.
The party top leaders have also suggested to make her a Legislative Council member.
However, the chief minister reportedly said that he may have to remove Housing Minister Ambareesh from the Cabinet for accommodating Ramya.
Ambareesh may revolt against the party decision and it would be a setback for the party in old Mysuru areas, particularly, in Mandya in the upcoming zilla and taluk panchayat polls.
However, final decision on the suggestion will be taken in the discussion between party Karnataka in-charge General Secretary Digvijaya Singh, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and G Parameshwara on Tuesday.
