Nursing student killed in motorcycle accident caused by dog

Mangalore, July 5: A nursing student was killed in a motorcycle accident occurred due to a stray dog at Konchady here.

The fatal accident occurred at around 6 p.m. on Monday, when the 18-year-old old Akhila George was riding home from her college.

In a bid to avoid ramming against the dog, the girl lost control over her two-wheeler and collapsed on the ground, sustaining severe head injuries.

Although, she was rushed to a private hospital immediately, doctors pronounced her brought dead.
