Udupi, October 21: A housewife was murdered inside her house in BTR Road, near Shasthry Park, Vadera Hobali village in Kundapur city on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Kusuma (48). She is the wife of Karnataka Bank Vaderahobali branch employee Rama Kirimajeshwara.
Unidentified miscreants stabbed her death after her husband left to the Bank at around 9.30 and also took away her mangalasoothra.
When her mother in law reached the house the murder came to light.
Kundapur police registered a case and are investigating.
