Mangalore, June 4: Dakshina Kannada district Congress Secretary and Ullal Town Municipal Council member Farooq Ullal has been chosen as the party spokesperson for Dakshina Kannada district, stated press release.
Farooq Ullal has a good record as a party worker, speaker, leader and also a writer.
Mangalore MLA U T Kadar and Vasanth Bangera recommended him to district president B Ramanath Rai for the post, the released explained.
Prior to his appointment, he also served as in-charge of Mulky, Panemangalore, and Beltangady block Congress. He was also the coordinator of KPCC.
