Jayaprakash Hegde lays stone for Bethesda hospital

Udupi, Jan 12: K Jayaprakash Hegde, Udupi-Chikmagalur MP, laid the foundation stone for the 200-bed Bethestha Hospital, which will be constructed by the Divine Generation Ministries Bethel Church (DGMBC) Trust, at Innanje village in Udupi district on Friday.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Hegde said the DGMBC Trust was rendering yeoman service to society through its Vishwasada Mane Rehabilitation Centre for Mentally Challenged and Homeless Persons at Shankarpura village.

Now, the trust wanted to build a hospital to help the poor, which was a noble objective.

Deviprasad Shetty, President Janata Dal (Secular) district unit, presided over the programme.

President of Udupi branch of International Federation of Karnataka Christian Associations Louis Lobo was present.
