Officer's enclave in memory of Martyr Major Unnikrishnan

Bangalore, Mar 8: An officer's enclave in memory of NSG commando Sandeep Unnikrishnan, killed while fighting terrorists in Taj Hotel in the November 2008 Mumbai attacks, was unveiled in the presence of his parents here on Friday.

The enclave was inaugurated by Major General K S Venugopal, General Officer Commanding (Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area), a press release said.

The enclave is a tribute to Sandeep, who was honoured with the Ashoka Chakra for his bravery, it said.
