Vijaya Karnataka journalist Arif Padubidri to receive Pa Go Award

Mangalore, May 27:  Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists' Association will confer its prestigious 'Pa Go Award' for rural reporting on Vijaya Karnataka Principal Correspondent Muhammad Arif Padubidri.

Mr Arif has earned the award for his report 'Napkin Ghatakada Yoshogathe' published in Vijaya Karnataka on June 12, 2012.

The award will be given away to Mr Arif on June 1, at 10.45 pm at 'Patrika Bhavan' hall, in Mangalore by senior journalist Chidambar Baikampady.

The award will carry a citation and Memento.

The awardee will also receive a cash of Rs 5001, which has been sponsored by Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade, informed Association General Secretary Srinivas Nayak.
