Mangalore, May 27: The State Government on Monday formally announced the district in-charge Ministers.
Except for the Public Works Minister Dr H C Madadevappa who has been made in-charge of two districts, all other ministers are in charge of one district each.
All four ministers from twin coastal districts of Dakshina kannada and Udupi districts have been given district in-charge posts of four separate districts.
Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment B Ramanath Rai will be in-charge of Dakshina Kannada district. Mr had been in-charge of the same district in the past also.
Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader will be in-charge of Kolar district, while Minister for Fisheries and Youth Services K Abhaychandra Jain will be in-charge of Chikmagalur district.
Minister for Urban Develop Vinay Kumar Sorake will be in-charge of Udupi district.
