
Mangalore, May 28: Results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admissions to professional courses in the State were announced on Tuesday.
The number of students eligible for admissions in medical and dental courses is 38,624. As many as 91,808 students are eligible to enter engineering and technology courses.
The number of students eligible for other disciplines are as follows: 68,943 (Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy), 816 (Architecture), 74,737 (Agriculture), 72,394 (Veterinary), 73,316 (Food Technology) and 10,0498 (Agricultural Technology). It is for the first time the board is conducting tests for admission to agricultural courses.
Out of a total 1.39 lakh students who applied, around1.37 lakh student appeared for the test on May 1, 2 and 3.
