Riyadh, Aug 7: The Imam of Grand mosque in Makkah, Saudi Arabia broke the protocol and straddled down on the ground to have Iftar with expatriate cleaners at the world's largest mosque.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, chairman of the Masjid Al Haram (Grand Mosque) affairs, was pictured eating and chatting with the cleaners, mostly Asians.
“The workers were caught off guard when he came and sat among them for Iftar…Sheikh Sudais then addressed the workers and told them they have been chosen by God the Almighty to serve His Holy House,” Alsaudey daily said.
