Jubail, Oct 12: In a ghastly road accident, a youth hailing from Dakshina Kannada district died at Jubail in Saudi Arabia.
The deceased has been identified as Umarul Farooq from Karambar at Bajpe-Kaikamba in Mangalore taluk.
The accident occurred on Saturday morning when he was travelling along with his friend Ibrahim aka Ibba Bajpe to work. He lost control of his car and crashed it to the pole on Maadin road.
Farooq died on the spot while Ibba sustained severe injuries. He has been admitted to Almana General Hospital in Jubail.
