Ballari, May 9: The Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council K.S. Eshwarappa has denied that there are differences between him and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president B.S. Yeddyurappa and that he was isolated in the just concluded party’s State executive committee meeting in Mysuru.

Eshwarappa, however, said the activities of the Sangolli Rayanna Brigade would not stop. He said Rs 900 crore out of the funds released by the Centre to the state for drought relief was yet to be spent.
Eshwarappa demanded that the state government bring out a White Paper on drought relief works.
He said that the party leaders will undertake a tour of the State from May 18.
Mr. Yeddyurappa will launch the tour from Tumukuru and other leaders, including him, will be touring the districts allotted to them to review drought and also the steps being taken by the State government to tackle it.
